SUMMER CAMP REPORT

....a great success!! Spirit and Truth Camp for Youth ‘2000*

Over sixty youth and fifteen adults participated in the family grace youth camp at Wildcat Ranch in Navarre, Ohio the week of June

12-16. There was a wide variety of activities including the favorites of swimming in the ‘cement pond* (an actual swimming pool), horseback riding, canoeing, ball games, and ‘everyone*s favorite* eating all the good food the staff fixed, especially the black bean pancakes!

The messages from the Word of God were clear and strong, dealing with the camp theme of "Defying Earth*s Gravity" (Colossians 3:1-2). By the end of the week there was a clear testimony of salvation in some youths who came in a lost condition, a clear understanding of eternal security with some youths who came not understanding it, and in general, great edification and growth in most, if not all, who participated. There were even adults and staff who came to a clearer and greater understanding of these issues and rightly dividing the word of truth that week. Glory to God !!! It was just an exciting, fun-filled week of the word in spirit and in truth.

We want to thanks all those who participated and helped make camp such a success. We are already planning next year*s camp for the same week, June 10-16, 2001.

As always, there were a few glitches and things that went not quite according to plan, but just enough to make for good memories and stories. A few of the kids and adults even wrote songs for their skits about these "out of the ordinary" occurrences. All in all, we couldn*t be happier with the way camp went. We*re looking forward to next year, and hope to see all those from camp again then, along with a whole lot more folks!

By His grace,

Steve Todd and Family

Hey, Folks!

I was at the Spirit and Truth Camp for Youth, and I thought it was great! They had lots of fun and excitement for all ages!

During craft time I made a blue-jean Bible cover. Some other girls hand-sewed dolls. They were really cute. My brothers, along with the rest of the guys, learned how to do simple bike repairs. Now they*re both volunteering to fix my flat tires!

Wildcat Ranch Camp is the very best one I*ve ever been to in my life! I enjoyed all the activities and the Bible studies. Thanks to the Todd family for providing such a wonderful time. I*m planning to go back next year!
