"Clarity of Grace Life"

Col 2:6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:

Some think that means we received Christ by being saved by grace .... so naturally, enjoy the grace life. But God did not ever mention anything about living the grace life. The closest similar phrase was made in Peter, about the GRACE of LIFE:

"Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered." 1 Peter 3:7

God gives the ‘grace’ part;  (Prov 3:34, Rom 5:15, Eph 4:7, James 4:6, 1 Peter 4:10, 5:5) We respond with the ‘faith’ part:

Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith;  and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: God did not tell us to walk by grace .... nor to live by grace.

We should WALK by FAITH:

2 Cor 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

We should LIVE by FAITH:

Hab 2:4 Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.

Rom 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Gal 3:11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

Heb 10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

We should walk AFTER the SPIRIT:

Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Rom 8:4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

We should walk IN the SPIRIT:

Gal 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

Gal 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

We should LIVE IN the SPIRIT.
